Summary

A pretty typical "everyone falls in love and wins the day and gets their happy ending" but overall a lot of fun to read! A story about strength in the unlikeliest of places and bravery。 Definitely made me cry a time or two。 A really good series to read! I'm sad it's over。 But I'm excited to read more of what Maas has to offer! A pretty typical "everyone falls in love and wins the day and gets their happy ending" but overall a lot of fun to read! I finished this series last night。 I read it in just over a week。 I feel。。。 like I found my long lost friends, after searching for many years。 Just to have them ripped away a week later。 Everyone else woke up today and is going about their morning like nothing even happened。 I am seriously thinking about reading it again。 I very rarely reread books。 But, what if I missed something that Manon did? I wish I could grow up and be Manon。 She is my favorite

I found this slow to start with and a little bit tricky to keep up between all points of view at first。 But as soon as I had settled into it I loved it! I laughed and cried tears of happiness and sadness。 A perfect end to a brilliant series。 I loved how things from all 7 books came together and tied in。 Thank you Sarah for creating this world。

Was soll ich denn jetzt bitte lesen? I was VERY happy with how everything wrapped up in this series。 I feel like it's been such a long and eventful journey and the ending is bittersweet。 I'm not ready to let the characters go but at the same time, I'm also so ready to let them rest。 Each character has grown so much from the very first book and I was NOT disappointed at how truly beautiful this entire series turned out to be。 I was VERY happy with how everything wrapped up in this series。 I feel like it's been such a long and eventful journey and the ending is bittersweet。 I'm not ready to let the characters go but at the same time, I'm also so ready to let them rest。 Each character has grown so much from the very first book and I was NOT disappointed at how truly beautiful this entire series turned out to be。 。。。more

an amazing way to end the series; it’s gonna be hard to find another series that makes me feel the way this one did

THIS WAS EVERYTHING。 i loved every second。 i loved how all the different storylines wove together and intersected。 i loved all the characters soooo much。 i thought the pacing was great。 this is over 900 pages, and there was never a time i was bored or thought anything was just filler。 i was shocked, i cried (multiple times), i laughed, i smiled, i had all the feelings。 it’s definitely my favorite book in the whole series, and i just love it so much。

Very long, but fast paced At almost 1000 pages the book take quite a bit of time to read。 The story kept moving forward, overall the book went fast。 It was a great ending to the series。 I would recommend。 It's one of those series you will want to read again。 Very long, but fast paced At almost 1000 pages the book take quite a bit of time to read。 The story kept moving forward, overall the book went fast。 It was a great ending to the series。 I would recommend。 It's one of those series you will want to read again。 。。。more

Well, the end to this series was bitter sweet。 It is always sad to say good bye to the characters you have grown to love。 This story was an amazing one。 Full of hope, love, passion, grit, and determination。 I once thought that Aelin and Chaol were the perfect match, however Aelin and Rowen are *chefs kiss*。 Aelin, fireheart, proved that she was a true queen, a true warrior。 Whether she had her powers or not, she would prevail through determination and friendship。 I love that Aedion finally got w Well, the end to this series was bitter sweet。 It is always sad to say good bye to the characters you have grown to love。 This story was an amazing one。 Full of hope, love, passion, grit, and determination。 I once thought that Aelin and Chaol were the perfect match, however Aelin and Rowen are *chefs kiss*。 Aelin, fireheart, proved that she was a true queen, a true warrior。 Whether she had her powers or not, she would prevail through determination and friendship。 I love that Aedion finally got what he deserved, with his love and his heart。 Aedion was the fiercest and most loyal out of everyone, I think。 He continually fought for Aelin, for Terrasin and it was amazing to behold。Lorcan and Elide are another coupling that I adore。 But Lorcans name, Lord Lorcan Lochan!!!!!!! It is absolutely hilarious。My only complaint is that I feel we did not get to see the destruction Aelin or Dorians magic would do at full power。 Throughout the series I was awaiting for Aelin to just snap a finger and be rid of an army but it never happened。 I was disappointed at that。 Dorian however, proved his magic was a force to be reckoned with。 I would argue he was stronger than even Aelin。Overall, this was an amazing, story。 One to put on my favourites。 。。。more

10000/10。 Probably my favourite book ever。 I don’t wanna be sappy and write a lot but I cannot believe I finished this series and that it’s the end。 Everyone says it’s a beautiful ending and it is in fact a really fkn beautiful ending。 I wanna cry but the end makes my heart so whole and happy。 Although I cried for a majority of this book and will probably cry for the rest of my life over some choices sjm made。 I’m now going to scroll through pinterest to fill the gaping hole of emptiness in me

If I could have given this 10 stars I would have! I have no words to describe how much I enjoyed this series。 I want more。 I want to read more about the characters lives after this book。 I hope this will happen one day, but it ended beautifully。 This will definitely be one that I reread!

How the hell does that work。 That's just not mathematically correct。 I was so frustrated saying "DO IT TOGETHER" the whole book and finally Rowan suggests it but it wouldn't work??? WHAT! It's like saying 1=1 but 2<1。 That's just, not correct Sarah。 I love you girl but no。 That's my only big complaint。 Other than that, this book was phenomenal and a wonderful end to a wonderful series。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Too fairy-tale-ish - if that's even a word。 Aelin has to be one of the most thick-headed protagonist I've read about。 Seriously, sacrificing countless of lives in a war that could have been avoided just to save one ghost spirit (was even unsuccessful and she lost almost all her power due to it)。 The twists also felt forced, too much coincidence that there was no thrill anymore。 The only part that had made a mark on me was the sacrifice the Thirteen (or 12) had made。 Giving 3 stars for their stor Too fairy-tale-ish - if that's even a word。 Aelin has to be one of the most thick-headed protagonist I've read about。 Seriously, sacrificing countless of lives in a war that could have been avoided just to save one ghost spirit (was even unsuccessful and she lost almost all her power due to it)。 The twists also felt forced, too much coincidence that there was no thrill anymore。 The only part that had made a mark on me was the sacrifice the Thirteen (or 12) had made。 Giving 3 stars for their storyline alone。 Also, the books felt like they don't belong to the same series。 Suddenly there will be a new main character in the next book (Manon, Yrene, Elide) with her own sad back story, and some main guy (Dorian, Chaol) or a newly introduced one in the book (Lorcan) would fall for them even if they were already into someone else prior to that and then they will become one of the power couples。 Happened too much in this series that it became cringy now to read about them。 It felt like the author got tired writing about Aelin that she decided to create more interesting characters but failed because she still ended up writing them as if they were Aelin。 Piece of advice is just to create a new series and not mix them all up into one。 This book is also too long for its content and sadly unremarkable, will surely forget the story after reading a few good books。 。。。more

Didn't plan to ever destroy Erawan?? or just changed their mind?? So Mala gives her magic? a weapon? extra power? Then Aelin uses that to destroy the gods? or did they just cross over to wherever they were going and she just use the extra power to jump back home? (hide spoiler)] 。。。more

Overall, I really enjoyed this series。 Sometimes I had a hard time finishing the slower-paced chapters (and even books)。 This one, in particular, took me forever to actually finish。。。 the beginning kept me hooked, it lost me in the middle, and finally picked up the pace in the end。 The series itself was really enjoyable and you really grow to love all the characters。 Even though I loved the characters, sometimes I had trouble reading certain chapters from their sections of the book。 For the most Overall, I really enjoyed this series。 Sometimes I had a hard time finishing the slower-paced chapters (and even books)。 This one, in particular, took me forever to actually finish。。。 the beginning kept me hooked, it lost me in the middle, and finally picked up the pace in the end。 The series itself was really enjoyable and you really grow to love all the characters。 Even though I loved the characters, sometimes I had trouble reading certain chapters from their sections of the book。 For the most part, I could've used a lot fewer inconsequential chapters。 Even though it took me forever to actually sit down and finish, I'm glad I did。 I think it was a nice ending that didn't rip my heart out quite as much as other books by Maas did。 It was really satisfying to actually finish this series since I've been invested for quite some time now。 I honestly think that it is hard to come up with people to read this book specifically, just because if you are reading this book you most likely read the 6 before it。 But the series as a whole is a great YA fantasy book filled with romance, action, and all the things you need to set up a series of this length。 。。。more
